As a soccer fan, hockey is the one other sport that appeals to me the most because of its similar objectives, obstructions, and strategies. Although I don't know very much about hockey rules and the fighting seems somewhat barbaric seeing as how the it isn't necessary to the outcome of the game and just looks like bad sportsmanship, I do enjoy watching games as I flip by them and can get pretty excited when a really good play is executed. Hockey is pretty much my second choice of sport to watch after soccer.
My interest has inverted into this curiosity:
As staunch hockey fans, which other sport would you consider watchable next in line of preference?
| Poll result (4 votes) |
| Soccer. Can't stand sports that don't use goalies. | (2 votes, 50%) | Vote |
| Football. After the non-stop action of Hockey, I can't wait to watch a sport that stops the clock for 5 minutes for every 10 seconds of play. | (0 votes, 0%) | Vote |
| Baseball. Clocks schmocks. I need to watch sports that can theoretically last into infinity. | (0 votes, 0%) | Vote |
| Basketball. Because games that score under 50 points per side at more than 2 or 3 points a pop are boring. | (0 votes, 0%) | Vote |
