For those who dislike Sean Hannity!

Joseph Wilson, in his book "The Politics of Truth," writes that Sean is "easily one of the least interesting people I have ever spoken to," and notes the Fox loud mouth has "no idea what he is talking about, at least on foreign policy, and does a great disservice to his audience." I like the book more with every page I read, and encourage DUers to buy a copy.

Right now, I'm reading Perfectly Legal by David Cay Johnston about how tax laws are rigged to help the super-rich. An interesting adjunct to Kevin Phillips' Wealth and Democracy, which I bought as background for his book Dynasty.

The contempt I have for Hannity is without limit. I can't stand Limbaugh or boortz, but at least they're skilled at arguing (to the extent that their points will allow it, of course). Hannity grabs on to one point and beats it to death.

I'm only talking about his radio show, I've never seen him on TV.

I couldn't replace Boortz or Limbaugh because I don't believe what they do. I COULD replace Hannity because I only need one point per issue. If someone makes a point against mine, I just repeat what I just said. If it looks like I'm starting to lose, I simply claim that my opponent is on the wrong side of history.

12. I can listen to Limbaugh at least

two to three times longer than Hannity. Limbaugh at least is somewhat funny and amusing at times with his cockiness. Hannity, guaranteed, within 5 minutes will have me clenching my fists, wanting to break his vain mouth open.
