By some strange confluence of probabilities, the producers of Tough Crowd elected to have Al Franken, Janeane Garofalo, Lizz Winstead, and Chuck D appear as the guest panel on Tuesday night's episode. I know, I know, it's usually just Greg Giraldo fending for himself, but is there any possible way a group this heavily tilted can fail to utterly embarrass Colin Quinn? 1. It's not like Quinn is an out and out repug....

Honestly, I know a lot of people on here hate the guy, but he's more just a middle of the road everyman type whose main role on that show is akin to a less educated Bill Maher's: Professional devils advocate. Just taking contrary opinions for the sake of keeping things moving. I'm sure he'll do the same tonight.

2. Greg Giraldo is on "Tough Crowd"?

I've only seen him once on Conan O'Brien. It was about a month or so after 9/11 and he took on the topic in his standup routine. He was brilliant. I didn't think anyone could mention the terrorist attacks and get any kind of laugh out of people but he pulled it off without being offensive.
