I must have been a good boy today...
Stopped by the thrift shop on the way home, and there it was....
Osaka-built Panasonic DX-2000 bike, 60 cm frame, Shimano SIS gearing, Dia-Compe "Aero" brakes....700C by 23 tyres...

I saw that beauty sitting There, it's red-fading-to-white "Custom Painted by Panasonic" paint job dirty, but intact, and I LAID HANDS to it and didn't turn it loose until we got to the truck....


Clean-clean-clean-grease-grease-grease.....Well, it's supposed to rain the rest of the week, anyway....

BTW, I was SO stoked, I jumped on my Fuji Old Schooler when I got home and rode it 18.5 miles in 1:29....

The Goodwill stores. I hope they never catch on that those "odd" bikes are more desirable than Schwinns....
