It's funny that on my security clearance when I stated I was born in Alexandria, VA, my boss showed more surprise than he would have if I had been born in Tim-Buc-Tuu. (I was working in nearby Falls Church, VA at the time). It's like hey, there were people here before you guys came here for jobs, you know?

Albany, New York. I live in serious snow country. I have family and friends here, plus doctors, dentist, veterinarian, pharmacist, dog groomer, the guy who does such a great job on my taxes and the guy who knows that I like my cheese sliced thin at the local deli. It would be tough to move. Why couldn't I have been born in Southern California, paradise, as far as I'm concerned?
