Help identifying movie I got on cable but could only watch part of it

Help identifying movie I got on cable but could only watch part of it
Comedy. Jeff Bridges (or was it Liam Neeson) plays the Devil, and he sends an acolyte (Ben Affleck?) to Earth to lure the owner of a diner into evil. The acolyte gets hired at the diner, surreptitiously puts a cockroach in a customer's dish, starts a fire, and tries to seduce the protagonist. That's the only part of it I caught. IMDB was of no help.

on tv guide online, by the time and channel. I tried looking for it at allmovieguide.com no luck.

It's a video-only release - One Hell of a Guy

So, I mistook Rob Lowe for Ben Affleck. Sheesh.

But this Michael York guy DOES look like a cross between Liam Neeson and Jeff Bridges, doesn't he?

How I found it? I recognized the guy who only speaks advertising from Batteries Not Included (Frank McRae) and went to THIS guy's filmography on IMDB.
