See, I have this giant tortoise named Boomer. He weighs about 35 lbs. He has a disturbing habit of eating our dog's poop if we don't get to it fast enough.

I posted the other day about my dawg Blue being on massive
tranquilizers for her slipped disc.

Picture if you will, a tortoise on tranquilizers, since he managed, unbeknownst to us, to chow down on the dog's tranquilizer-laced poop.

We are now being VERY diligent on poop clean up, but I have no idea how this will effect Boomer (tortoise) in the short or long term.

I only noticed cause I noticed he wasn't coming out for breakfast, and didn't even make it off his patio yesterday morning. He IS otherwise an eating machine, and didn't even make it to the romaine...

I'm just not quite sure what to make of this.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

1. Turtles are already very slow...

...maybe when they are tranquilized, they become very, very, very slow.

Or, perhaps giving it a Puppy Upper would help counteract the Doggie Downers it ate. :shrug:

Or maybe ask a vet. At least a phone call might be in order.
