Fog of War: Great Movie With Sh*tty Music
Edited on Sat May-15-04 07:50 PM by stopbush
Definitely a *must see,* but the score by Philip Glass - former enfant terrible of classical music - is just another annoying piece of tripe by a minimalist Johnny One Note. Maybe the score's intention was to create annoyance, said annoyance to be transferred to McNamara. If that was its intent, then it worked, but I was ready to turn off the sound completely and watch the dialog via the subtitle function on the DVD.

Still, a must see.

1. Agreed. . .
I enjoyed the music in the beginning, but it quickly became clear it would repeat and repeat and repeat... I got sick of it REAL quick, oh well.

2. God. How did I know you were going to say Glass?
I tried sitting through Koyanisqaatsi in college, and finally had to turn the freaking sound down. Gah, what horrible cacophony.
