| Who will win the pole for the Indianapolis 500 |
|
Edited on Sat May-15-04 06:27 AM by Norbert
or does anyone even care anymore.
My hometown newspaper hasn't had much this year at all on the big race and I only live 100 miles from the track. I guess my friends were right after all. The Indy 500 has lost its luster.
Anywhow there are still a few drivers I like and know. I think Sam Hornish Jr. tops them all today.

| 2. Wow! One response. My friends really were right. |

The Indy 500 better fix things because it certainly is broke.
For the Record Helio Castroneves still runs the series for Penske and has Hornish as his teammate.

| 4. The person I'd like to see run the 500 |
|
is Michael Schumacher.
Helio Castroneves will win the pole.
However, the IRL screwed all those guys: they changed the engine formula after the last race, so your old 4-litre engine can't be run in the 500--and an engine lease costs $350,000. Not even NASCAR does things that dumb.
