The Darkening Clouds all CAPTIONS!!
Edited on Thu May-13-04 09:24 AM by skip fox

W. is "thinking": "Shit. Karl said Iraq would a 'cinch,' a 'shoe-in,' 'lead-pipe' and all that. So I finally get up the nerve to ask him that if it was going to such a 'done deal' before, why are Dick and Rummy acting so scared shitless all the time NOW? And what does that son-of-a-bitch say? Why, 'I meant it would get you re-elected if you won in Iraq. But, hey! . . . winning's not my department, now is it Numbnuts?' . . .Geez. . . . Now he won't even return my calls. . . . I think I'm cooked."

Or even after that . . . but before all those people started telling me what I should be doing . . . and I could like . . . take the day off, and roll up my sleeves, and drive the pickup out to some corner where there's lots of brush, and hmmm, . . . gas up the saw . . . Geez. Sometimes I really miss it. . . . Like right about now."

10. why do Caption threads seem to drop so fast?
I've seen threads with hardly a post hang on the front page ... or is it my imagination or my :tinfoilhat:

11. Well, as many people of dark power realize CAPTIONS are the most dangerous

of the verbal arts, and since the verbal arts are more toxic and potentially lethal than all other arts including painting, music (excepting Bon Jovi and Perry Como, the Battle of the Blands), and the art of the karoki mime. Now, as those of dark power feel the radiant energy of a CAPTION pointing, or even potentially pointing, in their direction, they send out counter waves to make CAPTIONS, and thus CAPTIONing threads, slip beneath the attentive threshold of most (99%) readers. Thus, the letters in CAPTION are often not even seen (and the reason we need to always write them large) except by those who have trained long and hard, often devoting years of their lives, to the discovery of the very word CAPTION itself. Then, only those with almost spiritual persistence can even open such threads. And think of the priestly beings who actually CAPTION!!!!! Why it's amazing any CAPTIONing occurs ever!!!

But I hear the objection. "Is CAPTIONing then not futile, if it reaches only the few, and all those acolytes?" Good question. But those of us who have CAPTIONed, carrying the noble ancient tradition into the present, have come to realize that by CAPTIONing we drain off the evil energy of those of dark power, the energy it takes them to thwart our designs. So . . . you tell me if it's futile or not.

Just think of what energy and freedom of disposition evil would have in the world without CAPTIONS!!!! (Wow.)

12. Swift CAPTIONS fly from morn to noon
Yet leave the skies of day too soon,
But other CAPTIONS follow in their flight
To leaven evening and confound the night!
