They're getting overloaded at the shelter again. We're going up on Saturday.

may I bring them all home? Wish I could, but having two cattle dogs is all I can handle until I realize my dream of owning some acreage.

8. Oooh! Are they Austrailian Cattle Dogs?

I have had a photo of a couple of those on my refrigerator for about ten years. Great dogs! I finally got my first dog about a year ago....a Rat Terrier puppy from the Humane Society. She is a handful and it convinced me that it wouldn't be fair to have a Cattle dog unless I had more time and a larger yard.

10. Murphy is an ACD mix

but mixed with what - we don't know. He is a red merle, but has some black on his face too. He weighs 43 lbs and is 15 mths old. He looks like the ACD in Will's picture but his face is narrower and his ears don't stand up unless he hears something. He's a great dog!

Cindy is a Catahoula Leopard (probably mixed). She is 16 mths old and beautiful. Just a big, goofy, fun loving dog. She weighs 75 lbs, but that doesn't bother Murphy. They love to wrestle, have cattle dog stare downs, and chase each other around.

I'm unemployed so I have plenty of time for them. It would be nice to have some acreage though. Sigh.....:-)

Especially Pedra and Sparky (love those two different color eyes).

Someday I'll own my own place with lost of land and maybe even a barn.... then I'll have lots of critters.

If I didn't already have my limit of 3 cats I'd want those. I'd have a hard time choosing between them though.

11. 3 of the cats...

Came from the same home when their Mom had to go into a nursing home. They're hoping that someone will take all 3 since they've lived with each other their whole lives and still sleep curled up together.
