I'm feelin' kinda dizzy and lightheaded.
What would cause that?

Blood sugar's okay. I ate right today. Got a little exercise.

What was going on when you felt dizzy and lightheaded?

:)

1. If you just exercised, check your blood pressure

3. It usually means I'm having an orgasm.
However, if that were indeed the cause of your lightheaded dizziness, I daresay you'd know it! ;)

5. Have you eaten *recently*?
I am prone to vasovagal syncope associated with hypoglycemia.

That means if I don't eat every couple hours or so, I'll faint if I bend down and stand up rapidly because the drop in blood pressure will make my vasovagal nerve go wonky.

Do you get migraines? They can happen without the pain, but just with the neurologic symptoms.

Got a fever?

Those are the usual culprits when I'm dizzy, anyway.

Tucker

7. I spent a day feeling like that recently
Edited on Tue May-11-04 07:25 PM by ima_sinnic
--it got progressively worse until, coming in from running some errands, I ran to the sink and barfed. Then I started to feel better. It might have been food poisoning, or a "bug"

on edit: meant to say: food was completely unappetizing all day. all I could take was some water, and that was when I barfed.

11. Have any allergies? Any pressure in the ears/sinuses?
That will cause dizziness and lightheadedness, and it certainly is the season for it.

13. Wow, thanks for all the thoughts
I may have a combination of things going on: blood pressure messed up due to exercise, allergies (been bad for weeks now) and not enough intake of fluids.

Thanks everyone. I have to be more careful! Feeling pretty good now.
