This Just In: Mogwai kicks ass.
I bought Come On Die Young and finally got around to listening to it.

Fuck! What a great record.

Feel free to chime in with statements about how right I am.

3. I had a host of other stuff to get through
like older Yo La Tengo and some Built to Spill albums. (Listening to music is a competitive sport in this house.)

Note to self -- see Mogwai live before I die.

13. Ah. I've heard of both of them.
Haven't heard much of either of them, although I hear Eagles of Death Metal are the best thing since sliced bread.

9. There's a remix album for Come On Die Young?
Or are you talking about Kicking a Dead Pig?

Tell me more.

12. Kicking a Dead Pig came out after CODY and had remixes
from it on it, didn't it? It's been about five years since I listened to it. I remember it being fantastich though.

15. I don't know. Let me look.
Kicking a Dead Pig doesn't have a publishing/copyright date on it. However, the label is Jetset, which put out Ten Rapid and their other early album, I believe.

So while it is indeed fantastic, I don't think it's got CODY remixes on it. But I might be wrong.

17. What the hell do I know, anyway.
It's been years. Regardless, both records are great. KADP came out in 1998, that's all I remember.
Oops - I confused CODY with Mogwai Young Team. My bad.
