it's called imagination, Whit. We usually go to the beach in June... but we are considering a trip to San Fran instead. It is so nice out and I just want to be near water.

Kids drown trying that. If you want to swim go find a nice creek. I remember the swimming hole of my youth. If we'd have followed it for a mile we'd have been dumped in the Allegheny and died terrible deaths.

I'll tell you what though, head down to Homestead and go to Chiodo's on the corner of 8th avenue and the homestead high-level bridge. There won't be bob marley, but it is only a few blocks from the river and there is a beer garden around back.

I am ashamed to say I haven't been there in a while. Last time I was there, we did sit outside and I was quite lit, as I recall. :hi:

Cept it is a school night for the boy, and not too much consumption goes on around here on weeknights.

You know what, I saw a white car in Regent Square with a DU sticker the other night. Wonder who that is? I haven't seen any except mine so far.

I know. Valhalla used to be nice up there on the porch looking onto the Allegheny, but it closed. You have any recommendations?

11. places on Ellsworth

the Greek restaurant across from the Elbow Room is one of my favorites. Also the Meixcan place closer to College Ave. Can't remember either of the names!? It has great vines and plants in the summertime.

The Elbow Room also has that nice patio/ outdoor room. Is Valhalla gone? I wanted to go there, but never did. There are a lot more outdoor places here now than when I first moved here.
