Any Earthlink customers?
I'm unable to send emails to any domain outside of Earthlink's. Is anybody else having a similar problem? I suspect the problem's on their SMTP server. thanks!

opening...and I'm on DSL.

2. I had a problem sending out e-mails for a while. I could receive them
but I couldn't send any out. It could possibly be a bug. For me, somehow, a passcode was put in my laptop so I couldn't even boot it up. I took it to a guy who plugged my hard drive through his computer, and copied my files. During the copying of files, he came across a lot of viruses. After getting my files copied I sent it in to IBM and they had to replace the motherboard. Since getting it back, I loaded back in the original earthlink 5.0 software, and so far it's worked perfectly.

So Maybe what you should do is copy what you need from your e-mail thing and then uninstall Earthlink and then re-install it. Try that and see if it works.

3. well...
I don't use the earthlink software.

But...

I DID notice that AOL Instant Messenger had "insinuated" itself into my Outlook. I changed AIM to NOT be the default message program, then quit out of it and restarted Outlook, and voila. It worked!

Makes little sense, but there it is.
