It does feel good doesn't it? I think of all the time I spend on here gaining knowledge and being entertained and it's all for free. I think it's worth a donation from time to time to help admin keep it all going.

for breaking news...I tap into the "giant throbbing brain" to get campaign ideas...I've gotten HTML troubleshooting help...

I'm not the most prolific poster on DU, but I hit 100 a lot faster than I expected to, and celebrated by getting a star. Well worth it.

I hope to make mine soon. All I'm doing is waiting to hear back from a few publishers (5 manuscripts currently out: Pagan) to see if I'll have an income for the coming year.

5. I can't think of a better value for my money

I started my own company a couple of years ago so discretionary money is non existant. Even at that it was worthwhile to invest in DU for all I have gotten for free.
It also helps with my sanity to know that I am not alone.
