6. I think I like DU for the same reasons you listed...

...plus it is good talking to people who think the same way I do. In Tennessee we are outnumbered so I can't talk to a lot of folks here. The prognosis is good. I am taking Lovenox for it now and will start something else, the name eludes me at the moment, on Monday. Take them both for about a week then stop the Lovenox.

11. No and funny you should ask...

...I was just looking at the pictures of my fellow DUers and was struck by the number of cats in them. I do in fact own a cat but would never think to take its picture. I am not a cat person but do happen to think my cat is the best. The reasons I own the best cat ever are that he hardly ever wants to come in, only when it is cold or wet or when he is hungry. In fact he has no litter box preferring to do his business outside. When he does come in he hardly ever wants my attention, he stays with the kids mostly, so that when he does want my attention it is new and different and I don't mind giving it to him. And by all evidence he is a good mouser. The evidence not being a lack of mice in the house, although that is the case most of the time, but mouse corpses left around to show his prowess. I got him from the shelter after he was grown, none of that cutsey kitten stuff, and he had already been fixed so I didn't have to concern myself with that. He had a dumb name, Whisper because unless really in distress his meows are barely audible, another great point about him, so I changed it to Max. I mean big deal he doesn't answer to anything anyway. He just kinds of stares at you and does whatever he wants to.

Actually, I happen to know he did have a beautiful pussycat in his bed last night. Someone had to give the shot at 2 A.M. Max WAS in his bed last night, but unlike the two dogs kept to his own side.

Besides TN Al doesn't own a cat. He cohabitates.
