Bumpersticker idea...
I was driving around freeperville today and saw oodles of "Support Our Troops" bumperstickers. I SO wanted to X out the "Tr" so it would read "Support Our Oops"...

I have also seen "Support Our Troops and President Bush", which is just plain WRONG!

2. As a former "Troop", I can't stand those "Support our Troops" stickers
Some of the most vapid and banal words ever created. Support means what? Good thoughts? Going Shopping? Probably only 1% of those with those stickers doing any meaningful actions that truly support the troops.

4. Exactly...
Don't misunderstand...I feel deeply for those who are over there now; but like you, I don't think that's the gist of the stickers. The message they're trying to convey is, "Be a real Murrican and don't criticize * or his war".

That's why "Support Our Oops" seems more fitting.
