1. Because...
a buddy of mine I hadn't talked to in six months called me. Drunk. At 3 a.m. And I couldn't get back to sleep.

I was planning on getting up at five (now), but I didn't make it to bed until 12:30. I'm leaving at six, driving two and a half hours, and then engaging in outdoor activities until nine tonight. Going to be a long day.

3. Whacked.
What kind of schedule do you work with the 12's? Or is this just a busy/OT weekend for you?

4. Other
Damn history paper. I'm already late technically (even though after negociating with my professor I can turn it in Monday), but man I'm stumped. And I'm posting here because I need a break.

7. Actually I'm a Journalism major with a history minor, but nonetheless...

I am trying to show that the War of 1812 played a crucial role in globalizing the Industrial Revolution. Problem is though I was hoping to stick to American history - which I'm more familiar with - as much as I can, but this has turned into some kind of British imperialism study with a focus on the trade triangle between England, Africa and the Americas. That and I have a 15-page narrative on an investigation I did on a state congressman (for a journalism class) due Wednesday. So I'm kinda lost.
