Pet Peeve post.
Talking on chell phones is one thing while driving, but the other day I saw someone in their car, talking on the phone with a little dog running around their lap, sticking it's head out the window while the driver was trying to negotiaite a turn.

Isn't it enough that the cell phone was endangering enough that they had to add a dog to the mix? I also think it's dangerous for the dog as well.

Agree or disgree?

1. I once saw a guy on his cell phone...
block an intersection during rush hour. While he was on the phone the traffic moved up about a foot, and he moved up about a foot and a half, bumping into the trailer hitch of the vehicle in front of him.

Did he stop talking on the phone? Of course not! Instead, he backed up a bit. Of course, he didn't bother to notice the nice lady that was trying to walk across the crosswalk he'd blocked, and she barely made it safely across the street.

The guy in front of him got out of his car, and checked to make sure there wasn't any serious damage while this dimwit was STILL talking on the phone!

Unfuckinbelievable!

2. I hate it when a car pulls up next to me going boom, ba boom, ba ba boom,
Edited on Fri Apr-16-04 04:39 PM by Mountainman
boom, ba boom, ba ba boom, boom, ba boom, ba ba boom as loud as it can possibly be. I especially don't like it when they get out of the car and go in to the 7/11 and leave the sound on.

I also hate loud harleys, That's why I live in the mountains, to get away from those noises.

4. Especially when it includes every nasty expletive
in the dictionary....and a few that are not.

Sometimes a car will drive by and my house shakes. I really can't stand that!

3. I agree.. something else I hate
is when the light is turning yellow, cars accelerate, then after it turns red, two or three more run the light like they didn't see it. You really have to watch your rear view mirror to see if the fool behind you is going to stop or try to run the light. At least that is the way it is here.
