Apprentice Thread...does Donald Trump
snatch and eat insects out of the air with his long prehensile tongue?
Does anyone else see him and easily imagine Trump squatting on a lily pad?
I do...
BTW was that orange house paint he was wearing last night in place of normal television make-up...he looked day glo orange.
No doubt orange will be the major color scheme on that gawd-awful heap he is inflicting on Chicago.
:)

1. I was confused by last night's show

The final golf event was obviously played in the Fall, but last night's show was Live. Did the contestnats have to wait six months to find out who won?

2. His newly whitened teeth help to highlight his "sunburst" skin.
I was hoping he'd take off that hat at the golf tournament so viewers could revel in the Donald with "hat hair".

(paraphrase) suckups/butt kissers who would not tell you the truth, and would stab you and the company in the back as they are out for themselves and nothing else.

Article below in Boston Globe had a CEO interview chart - that did not make it to the internet - asking "which would you hire on final show"

4. The contestants fractured along gender lines
the men for the most part were these sleek cyber-Babbits, heads crammed with all the latest cliches and nonsense.
The women were seemingly selected on the strength of their photographs...save Omarosa (sp) whom I was convinced was in fact an actress HIRED to play the part of a scheming inept villainess in the manner of the late Jonathan "Dr. Zachary Smith" Harris from "Lost in Space".
I mean NO-ONE could be that pompous, officious, condescending, inept and mendacious....she had to be a plant.
Either that of someone deserves an Emmy for an editing job that turned a mediocrity into a monster.
That having been said, the women all seemed to grasp the game quicker than the men, had the teams remained gender segregated to the end it'a'been two women in the finals easy.
In sum they were a vacuous inconsequencial bunch...
Some of the challenges were interesting and suggestive though...

5. I kinda thought...
the loser gets to run one of his companies. There might not be much to run in a month or so. Most of his "businesses" are bleeding money and he has no money or credit for expansion or renovation.

Trump's gotten himself in so much trouble his bondholders are about to fire him, but that might be up to a bankruptcy court-- again.

6. The last bankruptcy court had the bond folks agree to limit Trump to $1.5m
per month draw.

I wish I could get flat broke.busted and be limited to $1.5 million per month.

Of course that was 10 years ago and there has been a bit of inflation that would no doubt mean a larger number this month.

7. hehe...
that was the time he went to the family to borrow $500 million from the trusts to keep what little equity he had. Asshole had personal gurantees all over the place like he really thought he could pull it off. Dunno if he actually got the money or they just put it up as security. (Or told him to get bent.)

Fun time at the Christmas gettogether that year. Everybody's got a relative who's always broke, but that's stretching it a bit. A mill and a half a month to them is like an unemployment check to us mortals.

When he divorced Ivana, Crain's wrote that she should ask for cash or a certified check. And Donald sued them, like he sued the others that dared to say he was a lot more schmuck than genius for letting an old band singer take him to the cleaners.

I do know someone who occasionally works for some outfit and has met a retired CFO from GE. Said retired CFO was put in charge of Trump's finances from the earlier cockup, and had to approve all of the Great Deal Artist's deals. He had control of the checkbook, too. Didn't hear much from The Great One for a while then.

Apparently, America's Greatest Capitalist is now handling his own affairs-- thus the return trip down bankruptcy road.

Forbes had Trump's personal net worth at a little over a billion. Dunno how he got left with that much money, if it's true. His stock dropped from mid 30's to around $2.50. When it went up to about $3.50, he bragged what a genius he was to get such an increase.

With three losing dumps in Atlantic City and not enough money to get new carpets, you'd think he'd learn...

Nah, not him.

How does Trump make a small fortune-- start with a big one.

his brother got from Dad -

his brother blew threw his 20 million with drugs and drugs induced deals

But the donald bluffed the banks and inflation saved him

At one point the brother pretended to work for the Donald - but the dad's passing has restored his funds.

We just sold the Sears Tower in Chicago - despite a great rental percentage, the weak market in Chicago for premium space made the place a problem for at least a decade.

I wonder if Bill's job will last a year. :-)
