This was only his 12th news conference of his presidency and does not seem pressured to have more.

GWB really believes it is the USA's job to spread freedom throughout the world.

GWB believes he has a mandate from the "Almighty".

The news corps is not tough enough and if they can't ask meaningful questions of GWB, then who will?

GWB will be speaking to the 911 commission with Cheney. Bush works for us, why can't someone force him to testify alone, under oath and in public.
