10. An old college buddy

whose hotbutton issue is guns, but agrees with the Democrats on almost every other stance, is a registered Republican. I've tried to point out to him that I share the same views (to include guns) and am happy as a Democrat, but he can't get past that one issue. Strangely enough, he's married to a girl who is Republican in every way except for abortion, and she's a registered Democrat because of HER one issue.

He's a good guy, but a political dumbass. She's even worse, but a hell of a good cook. That's one strange couple.

My dad might have to be the one, though. Poor guy has been in the Nat'l guard for most of my life, and they have NEVER been used as front-line troops before. Also, they are equipped by the state, not the president
