George Bush faces the American Idol Panel

American Idol is being preempted for Bush's Press Conference. I found this on the American Idol website-- it's quite funny.


Possible Scenario tomorrow night-

George Bush gives his speech and faces the Idol Panel-

RANDY- Dawg, that wasn't good at all. You had some sentences out of place, you didn't back up a lot of what you said, I wasn't feeling you at all.

PAULA- Don't you look nice tonight. I love that suit. It really brings out your eyes. For me, it was a very "safe" performance. I like it more when you "color up" your performance with more mentions of WMD's. A few pitchy spots, especially about not knowing anything, but overall, I thought it was "safe" but you look fabulous.

SIMON- That was horrible. TV's are being thrown out windows all over the country. You could hear that speech on any High School debating team in the country. You're wasting our time. We're looking for the best here and you're not it. Really, George, not good enough. SORRY.

my husband and I watch American Idol (I know it's probably sad, but we enjoy it) When they announced the speech time we both said "not a good idea to pre-empt American Idol."
