We inherited her parents home and all the land. Sadly they both Died of strokes within 12 days of each other.

10. This question always confuses me
I guess I should say I "own", even though I'm in the process of barely buying. I took out a mortgage a couple of years ago, if that's what you mean.

Like marriage or having kids, home ownership can be the greatest exhilaration and the biggest pain in the ass you will ever have. But you never know any of this until you do it. Personally, I'm glad I went for it, even though the maintenance and "fix-ups" are a drag. Your own home truly is "your castle", whether it's a mansion or a single-wide trailer.
