Right Wing Spin... I mean News is at it again

Right Wing News is spinning junk again. This time they posted a photo of ONE solider shaking Senator Clinton's hand with his fingers crossed. ONE SOLDIER. And this ONE SOLDIER is supposed to reflect thousands of soldiers opinions on the Senator.

Personally, I think that there are probably tons more troops who are Democrats than Republicans and would like to get out of there, FOX News just are not reporting them. Thank goodness there are alternatives.

6. Was this soldier an officer?

My guess is that he's a 2Lt.-Capt. ROTC/West Pointers are usually indoctrinated RWers. Check the enlisted ranks for real political diversity. His rank is hard to figure out from the angle. Another indication is the haircut. Most enlisted men aren't as eager to shave their entire head. The regs are much more lenient on hair than what this guy sports.

In any case...with the hair, and the fact that he's in an office, with a mess hall, with a clean shave/haircut, and a clean uniform, and looks showered, and not being shot at on the streets of Fallujia, eating MREs without a shower, haircuts, or proper sleep...he's some squared away, ass-kissing, Joe Blockhead (what we used to call these "Blaze of glory" types) that got a cush gig. Hell, this guy could be in Ft. Campbell Ky, for all we know!

7. A little off subject but...

In perusing that page, I noticed a post from a self described ulta-conservative, in which he attempts to put the minds of liberals everywhere at ease. He says that not all conservatives fit the stereotypes. Among other things, he thinks that:

"it would be the duty of every American to oppose, violently if necessary, putting liberals in any sort of camp for their political views."

Wow! That's real big of you, patriot! You're a great American!
