Why is Matt Drudge still so damn popular!
Matt Druge, Mr. Sleaze of the Clinton era...has a meaningless - half page of non-news links, - but still is in the top 250 of the most active links on the Intenet. That means millions of hits a day. Geez.

Drudge: Dangerous and Dastardly...

2. It just shows how bogus those statistics are.

Anyone who understands the way the Internet works will realize there is actually no way to measure what the 'most active links on the Internet' are. It's nothing but marketing BS.

3. Probably because so many DUers ...
... feel compelled to link to his site. DU probably accounts for 30% of his hits.

5. Drudge is not popular, his links are
I go there just to get a quick summary of the news and to follow up with the links.

I don't read anything he has to say.

10. "Popular?" I think his site is a great resource, but I don't like Drudge
and don't put any stock in his editorializing but he has some great links.
