when I was stationed in Germany, I was assigned to an air defense unit.

I enrolled in a basic German class, and my textbook had a big beautiful picture of the German landscape on it.

As we had just switched over to the Patriot missile, I doodled on my textbook, drawing and inserting missles all along the landscape.

My instructor (a brass middled-aged German woman) caught a glimpse of it one day as it was sitting on my desk.

and landing (with a BOOM!) on some little stick-figure guy (with an OUCH! coming out of a word-balloon). And I think pictures of this quality are also supposed to be accompanied by the legend "MODHER HAS COOTIES HA HA" at the bottom of the page written with a #2 pencil. (I originally thought "with a red crayon," but that would point suspicion at boosh*.) :eyes:
