I dont see any way we are safer. The 'terralert' is higher. Flights are continually delayed or cancelled. I guess that Delta jet thats being held while FBI is on board is a sign of our increased safety. Our monuments are being guarded by missle launchers! Bush is expecting Iraq's airforce to mount a counter attack I guess?

And last but not least, Bin Laden just released his newest single entitled: “My message is to incite you against the conspiracies, especially those uncovered by the occupation of the crusaders in Baghdad under the pretext of weapons of mass destruction, and also the situation in under the deceptions of the road map and the Geneva initiative,”

I see we are still in danger of old-school, lo-tech, standard al Qaeda terrorism, and now even the moderate, rational part of the "Muslim world" is after us.

so it seems to me that all Bush has done is make another attack MORE LIKELY

which, of course, suits his agenda perfectly.

How can you justify that statement? The moderate, rational part of the Muslim world my not agree with us, may even dispise our arrogance and materialism, but it is the uneducated, irrational and completely unmoderate whahabbists who are "after us". Don't paint muslims with such an broad accusation.

but I've seen/heard many reports that people are starting to think this really IS a crusade..

plus, I would think that many people in Iraq now are thinking "well, my family is dead, thanks to America"
