3. So many to choose from; here's some observations

DeLay is worthy, as are the obvious candidates (you know their names). "Evil" is certainly how I would characterize DeLay. I assume Rush Limbaugh retired with a Lifetime Achievement Award for the damage he has done to this nation. Demagogue Award to Judge Roy Moore. Toe Licker Award to the execrable Dick Morris (a personal stomach turner). Blow Dried Puppet Pundit Award to Sean Hannity, the GOP mouthpiece. Lie Down and Take It Award to Tom Daschle. Typical GOP Hypocrite Award to so many, but we'll take Strom Thurmond, posthumously. Stealth GOPer Award to Dick Cheney, the invisible hand and VP who shows up to raise money only. Welcome to the GOP Right Wing Club Award to the Washington Post editorial page. Cowardly Bastards Award to the rest of the press, who won't even challenge Bush at a press conference. Finally, Unintended Honesty Award to Grover Norquist, Citizens for Tax Reform (yeah, right) and the man to monitor for a real look at Bush's domestic agenda, for comparing progressive taxation to the Holocaust, and wealthy "victims" of same to those selected for the ovens. That, my friends, is a true GOPer in 2004.
