Why is the US paying back Iraq's debts?
While Jimmy the Fixer is running around Europe trying to get them to write off Saddam's debts, why isn't he asking the Gulf States to forgive Iraq's debt?

75% of Iraq's debt is owed to Gulf State Countries, mainly Saudi and Kuwait and they are being paid back. In the bill for the $87 billion that Congress just gave W to blow on his friends, a large part of it was to pay the debt Iraq owes the Arabs. So much for rebuilding Iraq. I guess Bu$hCo needs to make sure their friendly dictators stay in power and keep their populations under control.

So in the meantime, can someone tell me why Bu$hCo is allowed to get away with this crap. Why the hell my hard earned money is going to pay the Arabs back for Saddam's debts? Why is the US being allowed to bankrupt itself in the process? Why even after 9-11, Bu$hCo's foreign interests are more important than US interests. Isn't that treason?

2. Let's see here...
- The Bush and Saudi/Kuwait royal families are friends and business associates. Could that have anything to do with it? Nah.

- Most of the hijackers on 9-11 were from Saudi Arabia. 9-11 gave Bush* incredible 'wartime' powers to do whatever he wants without repercussions from congress or the free press. Payback?

3. Then shouldn't it be the Saudis & Kuwaits
who not only forgive Saddam's debts but also start to chip in for the reconstruction? I mean, they are Iraq's neighbors. They are the one's who needs a stable and secure Iraq the most? They are the ones who are enriching themselves by selling us more expensive oil. Instead, we are paying them and asking for little in return. And how do our friends show their appreciation? By growing Saudi hijackers to help Bu$hCo carry out 9-11? They sure do give new meaning to the concept, with friends like these, who needs enemies.

5. The less debt Iraq has to pay off on its own,
the lower their oil prices are, since they're using the oil to pay off their debts.

And, the lower Iraq's oil prices are, the wider the profit margins are for Bush's corporate whore buddies! YAY!!!

God Bless the USA!!

7. You'd win that bet.
This is just another way for Bush's buddies to loot the treasury.

They must sit around all day thinking of ways to chisel off chunks of our taxpayer dollars.
