1. "OBL still at large because of lack of presidential will". Hmmm. What if he's caught next month? Don't think I like this declaration - if Halfbright's correct and Rove is just waiting for the right time to parade OBL around, how will Clark get around this statement?

2. OK, Anti-Clarkies (esp the Deanies). REad the press conference thread and TELL ME about how good Howard is at getting people excited. I'm telling you, women, vets, middle-Americans, patriots, service academt grads, and guys with giant flags on their cars will be crawling all over each other to work for this guy.

3. Clark Made It Clear The Priority Was Getting Osama

it is an absurdity that we have Saddam (no real imminent threat) and not Osama...

Al Qaida HAS attacked since 9/11 (Bali). Bush's lack of resolve up til now did nothing to prevent those attacks. And the Iraq diversion did not help either.

Clark also made the case that wasting troops looking for WMD, when International groups more qualified, would hasten this process.

So Clark could say-

Why did it take so long?
Why did it cost so many lives?
Why did it cost so many alliances?

which was ahh, comments on the Clark press conference....right.

1. Our goal and focus should be on OBL. Catching OBL next week doesn't diminish Clark's statements. The fact that the US has taken a detour to Iraq has allowed OBL and his followers to grow in number and in strength. Catching OBL next week doesn't undo the damage caused by the delay. Also, what comfort do we have that there won't be future detours?

2. Not sure what is meant by #2 but IMO Clark is looking mighty presidential.

12. Polls are too. And they still show Clark getting more crossover voters..

than Dean. Dean loses in NH by a landslide to bush. %7% to 30%. Also dems crossover in NH to vote for bush if Dean is the candidate.

Your picture means the same as Nader filling Madison Square Garden while Gore could hardly assemble a rally. Different types of supporters is ALL your pictures mean. Just like with Nader.

We won a majority the last time without them, but we need those crossovers this time. I'm not too worried about the Saddam bump. We are still going to be bogged down in a country we invaded. Clark is the one who will attract the Reagan Democrats and get them back into the fold. We need Wes.
