After all, if we look back, it was the GOP who got in bed with the Saudis.

This pissed off a whole contingent of Saudis who hate the GOP for their devious ways.

Then came a whole slew of warnings/attacks to emphasize their seriousness.

Now that we have Iraq under control? We quietly leave Saudi as we should have in the first place. we set up a new base in Quatar and soon in Iraq too.

The GOP is persistent for the SPICE, they jus don listen. Now they want to be a presence in Iraq as they feel they have license to do so by virtue of taking out Saddam, the guy who brought much pain/suffering/war to this World. It was he that fucked up the whole thing. The GOP is compounding it by using him as a scapegoat.

I did a college paper on Dune and real world analogies.

Baron Harkonen was Sovient Union.

The Guild was the Oil and Automobile Companies.

America was the Empire.

England was House Atredies.

Oil, of course, was spice.

Fremen were the nomadic Arabs.

Dune, the planet, was the Middle East.
