Does anyone know about Bruce Willis' promise of $10 Million??
Edited on Sun Dec-14-03 06:52 PM by SoCalDem
Someone I was talking to today said that when he went to Iraq, he promised that "whatever unit captured Saddam", he would give them 10 million dollars..

I do not like BW, so I did not even watch any of the coverage on his visit..

I googled and found nada..zip..zilch..

Is this true.. ?? Bruce may want to take back his offer :)

10,000,000.00 divided by 600 = $16,666.67 per soldier

2. Right, but first...
Willis wanted to have 10 minutes alone with Saddam, presumably to do what a "real man" would do to get even for 9/11. Right, Bruce. Get a clue.

4. 4 seconds?
LOL

I'd take that offer. Does Bruce know Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11 or has he not realized yet that that was a Bush lie?

6. he won't get the private time but...
...I hope he remembers his promise and gives the unit the million dollar bonus to divide up.

Willis is a meathead who spends $20,000 a pop betting that "midnight" will come up on the dice table. He won't miss this money one way or another, and it might be a nice Christmas bonus to the soldiers involved.

I'm not sure if the military allows such awards but if so it seems like a nice gesture.

Agreed, he is no great mind but I'd rather see the money given to fighting men than pissed away at Mandalay Bay.

Just my two cents.

7. 4 seconds or 2 minutes. he would still get his ass kicked.
When's the last time that Brucey had to live in a hole with rats and mice? And he thinks that he can beat this guy? What a tool.

8. Sure.....Bruce..
....."It's awesome," said commander Col Michael Linnington. "It's great for morale. "He's a macho actor. Soldiers identify with action movies and action actors. He's a guy's guy."

During an interview Willis said: "Peculiar thing back home is that the liberal media was trying to portray it as a bad war.

"But being over here just a couple of days, seeing how well our troops and the allied troops are being received here, (I) think the Iraqi people are happy we're here," the Hollywood star said.....

No wonder Dimi Moore left him. If that's all he can last.

5. I like Bruce Willis,
so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Let's hope he's serious.
