If we lose or the election is fixes - What's "Plan B"?
Let's assume we win the Senate at least, and perhaps the House.

What should be on our itinerary and what would the priority be?

Rollback all *'s executive orders?

Initiate an independent prosecutor to look into Iraq war lies?

Initiate an independent prosecture to look into 9/11 LIHOP/MIHOP?

Remove tax breaks to corporations and demand reimbursement on corporate welfare programs?

Impeach Bush?

Load the courts with ultra-liberals?

Force * to sign a comprehensive single payer healthcare program?

Fix Medicare &* Social Security and do it right?

... am I misssing a few items?

FUCK BUSH Buttons, Stickers & Magnets

3. I think we'll need to gather some evidence on 9/11 stuff first?
Or what is it that you think is impeachable offense right off the bat? Lying to the American public (we can prove that without a doubt).

5. That and the Patriot Act will do just fine.
And impeach everyone of them who voted for it.

4. Plan B?
Sit back and reaps the rewards and trials of Empire...
Of Course...
Personally I don't really see it mattering much, going by your list...

If there was to be a single payer health plan, it would have happened by now...this social initiative is long past it's post-war heyday and is being modified in countries that have it.

As far as the rest of the wish list, like restoring a fairness to the tax system that sees some of the 'looted' profits of corps. being diverted into something that might benefit the public, is never going to happen...
It makes sense of course...people are paying higher taxes largely because great big corps have been able to literally 'buy' the politicians support to change the rules...people should really be asking , 'what have they done for me lately that requires them to live tax free?'
The political dialogue will NEVER approach this level of accountability...it is really beyond electoral discourse.

One can just hope that the guy wearing the 'jack boot stamping the human face forever' goes for coffee once in awhile...

11. What WILL be "Plan B"...
If the nominee is Dean and he loses, the DLC and their hangers-on will blame the whole thing on the Democrats having nominated a "liberal."

They will then use this to oust progressives from any positions of leadership in the Party. We'll be unwelcome for years (or decades) to come, while the DLC will set any and all future agendas for the party, and hand-pick all future nominees.

If the nominee is someone other than Dean, the DLC and their hangers-on will go over the loser's record with a fine-toothed comb until they can find something that will enable them to identify him (even Lieberman, should he get the nomination and lose) as a "liberal." See the above paragraph for the remainder of the story.

6. It depends
If we lose, then we spend the next four years trying to hold the line as best we can (same as the last four years).

If it's fixed, well, I can't speak for y'all, but I'm moving back to Canada. That may make me coward, I'm not sure. I'll figure it out in a democracy.

8. Plan B is
Edited on Sat Dec-13-03 11:10 PM by ldoolin
Plan B is I will have my passport, visa, immigration papers, and a one-way plane ticket to Costa Rica ready. 2004 is our last chance, otherwise America is finished as a country.

(On edit: If Bush gets another term in the White House by hook or by crook, I'm not so sure having Democratic control of the House or Senate would make much of a difference - it might stall some of Bush's more egregious court appointments but we wouldn't be able to get anything passed, Bush would just veto it.)

10. If we win across the board
I say we start to declassify all the crap. Start with Nixon and move forward.

October surprise, iran contra, 911, Iraqgate, the energy task force - the works.
