Edited on Tue Dec-09-03 03:33 PM by Bombtrack
(in the event of course, that he gets the nom and wins)

trying to imagine a realistic, innovative administration for Clark and I've got some good ideas, but I don't know who should lead the pentagon

Here it is so far.

President: Wes Clark
Vice Pres: Bob Graham
Atty General: John Edwards
Sec State: Fareed Zakaria
Sec Defense: ???

It wouldn't be Bill Cohen, that's for sure

1. Powell
Ill have to disagree with your selection of Bob Graham as VP. Too timid, and it makes the bill too southern-centric.

Secretary of Defense: Colin Powell

3. Colin Powell?? Are you insane??
In 1996 or 98 I might have nominated the man myself. But Colin Powell sat in front of the UN and told an entire series of blatant lies and "facts" from a 12 year old plagarized college term paper in order to justifify the eventual invasion of Iraq, which is still killing Americans on a daily basis. He's not fit to serve in any honest administration. Nobody in the current BCE/PNAC cabinet is fit to ever hold office again.

5. I was thinking of Powell as well
not sure he'd be the best bet

but I really don't think Clark-Graham is too southern-centric

Clark has lived all over and outside of the country and doesn't even have any kind of southern accent. Graham is from Miami, which aint dixie.

Clarks biggest needs and/or advantages he could get from a vp is someone with political office experience, prefurably alot of it. Someone who's governed, and someone from Washington who's directly on the aftermath of 9-11. Graham, being the ranking democrat on the intelligence committee, and someone who's worked in a state legislature, governorship, and multiterm senate career is his best choice.
