The hatred is too real, and being fanned by blogs of Democrats.
I don't think it can be overcome if this continues. I don't think Donna B. should have said what she said on TV this morning....I can't stand her anyway.

I do think Al Gore has the right to endorse someone. Apparently Hilary did so on WNYC...according to many at the Clark blog she practically endorsed him. The hatred for Gore there is palpable. Why is he so hated suddenly?

There are others with just pure hatred toward "Deaniacs". We are called every name under the sun. There are many saying they will not vote Democrat, just wait it out until 2008.

I saw the forum here this morning, and I was going to say it made me sad. But then I would be called names for saying that...

If it is true that Hilary "almost" endorsed Clark this morning, then we can kiss next year good by in the throes of a power struggle.

So, call me whiner and martyr, but it makes me sad.

1. Wow, if Hillary did hint at an endorsement of Clark
that is big news.

8. She didn't
People have their dreams, but HRC did not hint at an endorsement. She sort of quoted him a couple of times, that's all.

2. Yes we ought to get our s___ together
because the Republicans will have their's together. I suggest anyone read Will Pitt's interview with Sidney Blumenthal about how the right wing finances and organizes their "hate machine".

We had better grow up and grow together or we could be looking at another 4 years of you-know-who.

3. Can we compare those who'll "wait it out" to them durned Naderites?
It's amazing that anyone would say such a thing.

5. Senator Clinton Said She Will Throw All Of Her Support Behind Whomever
wins the democratic primary. That is all that matters. Various politicians can endorse whomever they wish for the primaries, but all will come together to support the democratic primary winner.

What matters is kicking AWOL/Deserter Bubble Boy out of President Gore's house!!!

What matters here is attacking Dean.
AND Dean supporters. That is what has been going on. Most of us are quite sane and sensible and intelligent. When I read the blogs of all three candidates, I see less hatred and venom on Deans than on the others.

It is sad. I think if this turns into a Clinton/Gore match we can forget it.

Gore had a right to do what he did. I would have been angry had he supported someone else, but I don't think I would have been hateful.

I just feel the bitterness so much. It is even worse than 2000, and I thought that was hell.

Shame on us all.

6. I am certain that Hillary
will back whoever wins the Democraic nomination.

Democrats believe in democracy, and we all have the right to support our own candidates until the Democratic nominee is chosen.

I will personally support ABB.

7. This makes me sad, too
Right now my vote is for whoever gets the nomination. I have a short list of favorites in my mind, but I refuse to get into infighting with other Dems when we need to keep focused on our goal-- to remove the shrub!

What's that saying? "Keep your eye on the donut, not on the hole!"

9. After the convention
I'm sure both Clintons will be behind whoever wins the nomination. At that point, shame on anyone here who won't support our candidate. I say that as a Deaniac who'd be happy to support Clark in the general election.

10. Would you settle for being called - concerned
I'm wondering if there's going to be a major fracture within if the Clintons back Clark, especially since Bill stated that the candidates should stop attacking each other and unite to smack Smirk*.

I don't like that some are trying to call the race so early.

Rebublicans ram rod everything they want for another 4 years.

Lets keep an eye on the prize, that is, GET THE WHITE HOUSE BACK!

I would like to see Dean win, but if its Clark, or Kerry or whatever is 10,000X better then what we have NOW!

SO YES< LETS GET BEHIND ONE GUY AND DO IT SOON!

I think I forgot I posted it, I am so upset. I think if each of us went and read the blogs of the other candidates with an open mind....we would come together better.

That said, it is wrong to call the election for anyone, it is not fair to Dean to do that, and the voters will make the choice.

I will vote for the other candidates, but Lieberman would distress me.

14. I'm not sure why anyone is calling the election.

That's just stupid. This is FAR from over. Clark has a lot of factors on his side, still, including the others dropping out of the race.

On edit: I'm a Dean supporter, by the way. :)

15. many non-Dean-supporters have been very gracious
Including myself. I haven't seen a whole lot of hate.

And a few Dean supporters made gloating, aggressive posts that make it hard to keep being gracious. Like saying "face it, it's all over."
