I sit in front of a tv tuned in to CNN all day at work...

sometimes MSNBC. It's not my job but it is in view. I've noticed a lot recently that a lot of lip service is going to Dean and Kerry but very little for the others (like my personal favorite Clark).

Now I'm not here to bitch about candidates but it leads me to believe that others, who may be sitting at home or in a situation much like myself don't get the exposure to the other candidates. I'm lucky to do research after work, I come here, I visit the candidates websites and watch their speeches etc.

Does the general public do that or do they just see whats in front of them? Do you think the general public (outside DU) can name or place a face to the other candidates?

I'm all set to support the nominee that gets the nod and I'll be damn happy doing it.

Putting 1 or 2 of the strongest candidates up there in front so early in the game just makes this bullshit bushcorp anxious and start to tear them down faster.

1. Sweetheart, they are commercial businesses, not poly sci think tanks.

Don't take them too seriously, I think they may, in the long run, be doing themselves a great disservice, not to mention us.

2. If more than 60% of Democrats know who is running, I'll eat my

computer. I'm at work without a TV all day but I do tune in to DU from time to time. Sometimes I want to yell at people and remind them that hardly anyone is watching cable news during the day. Most people get their news from the networks and probably just a glimpse at that.

I love Clark, but I actually think he's been a tremendous help to Dean. If Clark was not in the race, Dean would get beaten up daily for his opposition to the Iraq War. Clark has really muted it.

I will happily vote for either one of them and the thing that gets me is that I can't believe that their are TWO exciting candidates for me to choose from. A year ago I didn't think we'd have one.

3. I find it weird too how they ignore Clark especially

I go back and forth between Clark and Dean. Right now I'm back in Dean's corner. But I would like to see Clark get more air time. Heck, I'd like Kucinich to get more air time, too.

But yes, they've really been ignoring Clark.

Anyone else bothered by how the media seems to have decided who's going to win the nomination before so much as one vote has been cast?
