To Heck with you!!!! Wallmart (better?)
There have been numerous threads here about the practices of Wallmart.
And I saw first hand how a wallmart store destroyed many small towns

(or if destroyed is too strong a word, than how about severly disrupted the local economy)

they have a savage, heartless, and cut throat philosophy....

use illegal workers....

BUT

in typical wingnut fashion enforce their morality codes on America as they push their agenda in the

or they will lock your thread again. I "think". :)

I agree with you about Walmart. They suck! I hate their stores! My sister lives in Va. and a few years ago Walmart was trying to build one of their damn stores on a BATTLEFIELD! Whoa! The people fought them and won. They have no respect for anything and worry only about how many stores they can open and how much money they can make.

3. Much, much better. I don't shop at WalMart.
They usually have a depressing environment and I don't like their stuff, as a general rule.

:D

9. Unionize Wally World
Well, from what I understand it kinda goes like this. Wal Mart is fanatically anti-union. In Texas when their meat departments voted to organize they simply closed them entirely. No meat department - no meat union. They also got a judge in Arkansas to come up with some restraining order that lasted about a year or so before being overtuned this last summer that pretty much curtailed most union activity. They also use the ususal scare tactics, union busting routines that keep their employees afraid of their rights to organize. Wally World is really the 800lb gorilla and needs some serious correcting influences. They violate labor laws at their whim (forced unpaid overtime), do not pay a living wage to their people, are facing a potential huge sex discrimination suit (which might actually get their attention this time) , violated US trade sanctions, were cited in NY State for violating toy safety laws (need to have those orange markings on the toy guns), were cited in CA for violating gun laws and generally don't play well with others. I implore everyone to avoid Wal Mart and Sam's Clubs. Please do not shop there.
