What to say to a Freeper if there is another 9/11 type attack.
What will you say if another catastrophic attack happens on U.S. soil to a freeper?

They keep saying that "Bush is keeping us safe now". and "We'll have no more attacks here.", but if it does happen, what are planning on saying? My words are going to be three simple words...."Told you so!"

John

2. I won't blame Bu$h for another terrorist attack.
Because a terrorist might attack on Deans watch.

3. How are you going to say anything while under curfew and martial law?...
Because those measures will be implemented immediately should another major terrorist attack take place.

Then they will indefinitely suspend the 2004 elections, and ramp up the draft which they now have planned for activation in mid-2005.

7. Tommy Franks
has already let the cat out of the bag by that piece in Cigar Afficianodo (sp) magazine. He said that if another terrorist attack against our country OR ONE OF OUR ALLIES occurs, we will suspend the Constitution and declare martial law.

11. Well that just about says it all, now doesn't it?
It's settled, almost most a guarentee that another attack will happen between now and next November.

18. Actually, I think he said a "WMD" type attack....
either biological, chemical or atomic.

I wouldn't put it past any of them to use any excuse, but in terms of getting fence-sitters to pay attention, I'm not sure that his words, at this point, would carry much weight. He left plenty of "wiggle room".

Any other take on this?

9. It's a scary thought but I think you're absolutely right, it's why
bush* has kept the state of emergency in place for another year. That and I believe it allows the NG to be called to active duty.

4. It;s Clinton's fault
Or how about, well Ridge and Rummy practically guaranteed it would happen again, you can look it up. What's the surprise.)

Till Iraq went bad another attack was seen by me as a plus for Bush. Now I am not so sure. Of course 9/11 was the best thing that ever happened to him and the GOP. As Delay said, it was "unfortunate" but presented them a great opprotunity. (I always thougth spilled milk was unfortunate, not the deaths of 3000. Whatever) I still lean to one being a plus for him, since everything seems to be.

6. THERE WILL ONLY BE ANOTHER ATTACK
If they allow it to happen.

The overwhelming pile of evidence showing not only warnings but accomodation of the plan ( SAC Standown) and advance knowlege of the whereabouts and location of the perpetrators (they had a complete list of them 24 hrs after the attacks?)

I just don't see them trying this trick twice.

8. Excluding the 4 aircraft crashed on 9/11 and the OKC bombing, how many
Acts of terrorism have been comitted on U.S. soil in the last 20 years? Isnt the answer...ZERO? even if you forget the Oklahoma bombing, which, as we all know, was done by an American, how many acts of terrorism have been conducted by FOREIGNERS in the last 20 years? STILL ZERO....right? The chances of another attack are so damned remote it is absurd. There is no terrorist threat. no more than there was on 9/10/2001 and in the weeks and months since, we have lost more than 3000 people in car accidents and shootings in this country.

10. The Thing about the attacks
Is that the terrorists operate in a time span that is outside the mindset of our political and public mindset. Clinton knew this and he emphatically told the Bushco ship of fools that they better be ready for terror.

Well Rovian and Corporatic thinking was in charge and their hatred of Big Dog prompted them to ignor his anti-terror plans. Notice the time lag between Tower Attack One and 9-11.

That is how the next attack will occur. Outside and beyond the anti-terror strategy BushCo has in place. Complacency in years to come as they chase politicize "terrorists" in places like Iraq, Nigeria or anywhere else oil or strategic wealth is located not because it will benefit America's safety.

Bush bungle 9-11 and because his neglect of homeland security it will happen again in about 3-5 years on a big scale. It's not inevitable, but with Bush in charge it will be much more likely.

12. Okay this is what I'll say
"Sir I hold you in contempt of this nation ,
for your complicity in the undermining of the
Constitution and for supporting bush's romp into
Iraq , I hold you individually responsible in not
doing all you can to support the victims families
of 911 tradegy in the search for Answers . How
dare you support bush above the victims families .
How dare you say going into Iraq will make us safer ,
I told you we are more in danger now because we took
our focuss away from defense and put all of our
ducks into gutting the Constitution and pre-emptively
attacking , invading other countries based on
shoddy evidence . How dare You ! You who have not
read The Constitution You who put a single man above
everything logical and sane .

You know what I told you so and I did everything I
could to Protect My Countrymen , How are you going to sleep
at night knowing that your fear and alliegence to bush
is what puts My beloved Nation in Peril .

Go on now go back into your little hole , where you
can believe whatever you are told without questioning
or looking beyond soundbytes . Sweet Dreams. "

15. Well there are certainly a lot of freepers making rounds here today.
Jeez, I've been on several threads and there they are! Sorry just needed to do a mini rant.
I just don't see how logically anyone can say they feel safer. But truthfully I don't think I would say much to repubs because I believe they would still fall in line behind the twit*

20. It is, one thread had 2 doing the buddy system and there were
several DUers slashes them to bits, Catwoman, NSMA, MediaLiesDaily and myself. We were having fun debunking them for a while. The Freepers are upset that we're not praising the twit* for his slinking into Iraq for the photo op. Someone posted a thread earlier showing the freepers usual disdain for DU. It's funny they are clearly afraid of Senator Clinton.

19. tell them he failed to protect us the first time.
I lay 9/11 right where it belongs, at the president's feet.

He failed. We got hit.

He had the info and he ignored it. Condi Rice didn't even READ the fucking report they left for her.

He's the first president since FDR to let something like this happen.
