Freeper: A vote against Bush is "voting to encourage the terrorists"
Edited on Fri Nov-28-03 02:25 PM by SeveneightyWhoa
Get into the mind of a Bush-loving imbecile today. Just read the following highly-intelligent and completely sensical list of what will happen if one chooses to vote for the Democratic nominee next year:

Everyone who fails to vote for President Bush next year

- will be voting for a huge tax increase (the repeal of the Bush tax cuts);
- will be voting to stop the Bush economic boom dead in its tracks;
- will be voting for another Carter-type recession with double-digit interest rates, double-digit inflation, and double-digit unemployment;
- will be voting to kill the stock market;
- will be voting to fill all federal judicial vacancies with liberal, anti-Constitution judges who will legislate from the bench;
- will be voting to place the American economy under the control of the UN Kyoto Treaty;
- will be voting to place American citizens, including our military, under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court;
- will be voting to destroy our military capability;
- will be voting to destroy the counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence capabilities of the CIA and the FBI;
- will be voting to stop our missile defense system;
- will be voting to allow France and the UN to dictate American foreign policy.

But worst of all, everyone who fails to vote for President Bush next year

- will be voting to surrender to the terrorists;
- will be voting to encourage the terrorists to strike again and again and again at targets on American soil;
- will be voting to place the lives of millions, if not tens-of-millions, of American people in jeopardy from WMD terrorist attacks.

Yes, you read that right. Not voting for Bush means voting to put tens of millions of people in jeopardy from WMD terrorist attacks. Isn't it amazing what propaganda, fear, and ignorance can do to a person?

The post is from my favorite moron-infested site, the almighty FreeConservatives (link to thread: http://freeconservatives.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Ca... ).

1. I say, voting FOR Bush will accomplish all these things.
Just proves...everything is relative.

2. Man if you want comedy..
Just read this forum. These people are like COMPLETELY on the edge of the political spectrum.

Hilarious post I just witnessed:
"Soros is a vile totalitarian statist of the stalinist variety."

We call the Bushies fascist, but thats closer to reality than calling supreme capitalist George Soros a stalinist totalitarian. Do these people have anything to say that isnt mildly retarded?

what?! No " a vote against Bush is a vote for destroying heterosexual marriage as straight christian men are forced into camps to be forcibly sold to gay men in turbins and have partial birth abortions?"

What, don't gay people merit thier paranoia as well?

Seriously, this too laughable. One has to wonder if they wrote this to "convince" independents or to try to convince themselves to vote for the shrubbery?

4. Oddly, I agree in a fashion.
Voting for a Dem means:

-we will be a step closer to enforcing finance laws that keep the market artificially inflated

-we will be in a position to move the energy sectors of our economy to sustainable resources

-we will have a huge tax increase among those who deliver unto Republicans the spoils of government privatization

-we will be voting for an end to a missile defense system that would have worked so remarkably well on 9/11 (supposing one jetliner had been packed with radioactive material - or an A-bomb)

-we will stop the Bush economic boom dead in its tracks (by "boom" I suppose the writer means inflated stock prices through company outsourcing and layoffs - not necessarily through product and service sales)

-by surrendering to the terrorists, this could mean that we would rephrase our foreign policy to reflect equitable treatment toward the citizens among nations where we derive our imported natural resources.

-ditto the last two points provided we maintain the same course as the Bush administration

9. Be Araid! Be Afraid!!
Do these people have mechanical implants in their brains that simply spew out this empty tired rhetoric day and night, despite the reality all around them? They remind me of the stepford wife whose wiring went awry and she started bouncing off the cabinets and saying the same words over and over. They seem to be short-circuiting.

10. What an ignorant dumbfuck!
Repealing a (ill-devised) tax cut is NOT a tax hike.

What economic boom? People have lost millions of jobs and * openly supports the oursourcing as well...

This is all speaking to the choir anyway. :D

And we should allow France and the UN to dictate american foreign policy. At least they'd be CORRECT in their actions. bush has done everything based on lies and deceit. How can the freepers NOT have noticed?!

12. but a poster further down slams him:
You are an ideologue. Worse yet, you are blinded by worship of the President.
I want what's best for this country. Being slowly sold down the river is not my idea of what's good for the country. The best possible thing that could happen is actually the worst possible thing that could happen....democrats re-acquiring power.
Now, that being said, should the President and the Republicans in Congress, "grow a pair" and start standing up for REPUBLICAN (read - conservative) principles, I'll likely change my mind...but, not before. Been there, done that and it ain't gonna happen again.
I need to know that I will be voting for SMALLER, LESS INTRUSIVE government, not democrat-lite.

And that's just part of what he said. :)
