Austin, Tx D.A. in the gunsights of the G.O.P. smear teams?

I don't know if anyone heard the NPR story this afternoon about Tom DeLay's TRMPAC...it was pretty damning. Ronnie Earl is the Travis County D.A. and holding a Grand Jury to investigate if funds donated to TRMPAC that should have been used for administrative purposes went directy to repub candidates in the Texas House to win back the house(and ram redistricting through).

So, getting into tinfoil territory, did anyone notice that it was Ronnie Earl's name that was mentioned in that "Reuters" report that was "pulled" from that Bu$h Scandal thread. My Hopothesis...that sex abuse story was planted as a pre-emptive smear of the Travis County D.A. by these GOP smear squads to see if anyone would bite. They are setting themselves up to say that Earl's motivations are purely political...look at what he was trying to do to our president with these bogus sex abuse with his daughter smears.

1. Ronnie Earle...

...is the guy who is mentioned in that alleged "scandal" regarding Bush abusing his daughters.

Earle is also the guy who has fought Kay Bailey Hutchison tooth and toenail.

I'm sure they're going to try to smear him. However, he's smart enough to realize that means he's on to them.
