Where's Colin? Is he out of the picture?
Aside from him cancelling his speech in London last week, due to "Security concerns", I haven't heard much from our Sec of State in the last few months. Is he still in play?

Or has he been cast aside, deserted, discarded, dissipated, dropped, eliminated, forgotten, forsaken, jilted, left behind, neglected, shunned, side-tracked and/or sidelined by Bushco?

What gives?

2. The silence is deafening.
Last I knew of Powell was that he was in Belgium a week or so ago to meet with the Israeli foreign minister.

Maybe he is in the bunker with Invisible Dick now.

3. John Bolton is apparently da man now.
There's a piece in the Washingtonian magazine, a guide to Senior Administration Officials, which names Bolton as the most oft-quoted State department SAO. With Bolton firmly in the demented wing of the administration, it would seem as though Powell is only going through the motions. It's a good little list; check it out.

4. Haven't seen much of any of 'em
None of the Bush gang has been seen much since the failure of the "Things are going great in Iraq" propoganda blitz.
