5. Says he'll stop campaigning for next few days
to stay in Washington to fight the bill. Says it's a "moral responsibility."

I am so glad to see a united front on this. I hope the other Dem candidates who are not Senators support Kerry, Edwards and Lieberman in their efforts to fight this bill.

8. At least Lieberman
showed up to vote against the energy bill also. Seeing that it was stopped by a single vote I'd like to know why Kerry and Edwards couldn't be bothered to show up to their jobs and do what they are being paid to do. I really am done with those two!

9. He also said...
He predicted that the race would narrow down to two or three candidates, with Lieberman being one of them.

Lieberman vs. Dean? Yikes.

13. This is good news for the Democrats. Daschle indicated that Dems will try
other procedural or parliamentary maneuvers if a filibuster is not successful.

This is good news, too. We must contact our Senators and give them our full support for whatever it takes to block this Medicare drug bill that only a pharmaceutical company could love!

14. LIEB Will Not Only Vote Against, But Join the Filibuster
and Wolf suckerpunched him with, "SOME are saying that if you weren't running for president you would be a DLC leader in working with the (Repukes) for exactly this kind of bill." "That's not true, Wolf. It's a MORAL issue..."

If it takes the primary season to appeal to the Lib base, so be it.
