MTP-Daschle
After defending his decision to support the energy bill, his vote for outlawing late-term abortion, and DOMA, the senator informed us
that there was no need for "gay marriage" because "civil unions" are available all over the country".....

Why didn't anyone tell me this? I thought it was only Vermont.

1. Daschle is a republican lackey
And a turncoat.

He is a disgrace on the dem party. He is a disgrace to America.

Mr. Daschle's staff, if you're reading this...go check your records. The guy writing this is the same guy that wrote to Tom post-911 urging him to continue his brave, principled stand against Bush.

That was then. This is now. He has rolled over for Bush and the GOP, probably based upon something the GOP found in his office while they had months of unfettered access to the dems' offices while cleaning up the "anthrax" in the Hart Senate Office Building.

4. I've defended him on occasion but not after today
Edited on Sun Nov-23-03 11:52 AM by Rowdyboy
This interview was pathetic. He needs to turn over the leadership to someone who doesn't have to face tough re-elections like Kennedy or Sarbanes or Leahy.

5. Dashle
Wrote to him last nite and told him to step down as minority leader of dems, Bush enabler. Must've been the antrax, or maybe the "Wellstone Crash".
