Not yet hearing the ice scraping against the bulkheads, the corporation is having a webcast analysts conference August 4 and 5 starting at 9AM and recorded on its website for a year. The bigwigs will glory in all their plans but the timing is exquisite especially if they were open to any Q&A which I doubt.

That Iowa decertification story is not mammoth yet, just one guy calling for software overhaul. The company got burned last quarter because Maryland "delayed" their order a bit. If they think THAT was bad someone is in for a rude shock soon. Apparently their 1.3billion business would be in big trouble even at a simple level of reluctance to certify their machines. The ignoring stage may be over quite soon I would guess.

8. "just one guy" is Dr. Doug Jones, one of THE leading experts

who has testified before Congress, and is a certifier, and is an associate professor of computer science.

And...he has inside dirt that he had to sign a covenant not to discuss, in connection with reviewing some certification documents.

Dr. Jones is one of the very strategic thinkers on this, and has a LOT of inside information. If he's calling for decertification, watch out!

9. One thing is certain...

If people (like us) hadn't pushed this story in every way we could for these so many months, this segment today would NEVER have occurred. All those who led the way, like Jones, Mercuri, et al, needed people like Bev and us to push this story further at the grassroots level.
