Anyone Up For An Incredibly Stupid Bush Quote?
Edited on Thu Nov-13-03 02:59 PM by hatrack
From the National Journal Hotline - no link, but sourced to LA Times.

This is from an article dealing with his recent trip to South Carolina and his visit to a BMW plant there.

"Talks with workers 'provided Bush the opportunity to tout his job-training initiatives': 'There are ample opportunities to find job-training programs that will help train you for jobs which actually exist -- and that's a very important concept. There are jobs available.'" (Chen, Los Angeles Times, 11/11).

After all, who wouldn't prefer a job that actually existed? I know I sure would!

1. A scan of the LA times and Monster.....
tells me that he's smoking crack again.

The jobs he's talking about are either 9-15 years of school/experience jobs in specialized fields ( and with 5 years max of welfare, that isn't going to happen)

Or

They're low paid, service sector "McJobs."

(Oh, I love that term.)

2. The other funny thing about it is...
The job-training resources he's touting are Clinton's.

3. Call Mark Crispin Miller
This is yet another comment that reveals Bush's pathological lack of concern for suffering.
