Remember "Shock and Awe"
The bright, orange flashes from the mushroom clouds and the celebratory high-fives from the pro-war crowd? Remember the awesome power and invincibility of the US military? Remember the cheerleaders on the cable networks and how "our team" was winning? Seems like a different war now, don't it?

3. a billion$ act of cowardice
Dropping huge bombs on civilians from 10,000 ft is the epitome of the arrogance of power. It is cowardice cloaked as high tech.

4. For all the crap they threw at him about his comment...
Bill Maher was right when he said we were the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from miles away.

5. "shock and awe" yes a very odd thing
to say to a country that we were supposely liberating. I dont think Ike and FDR acted like that on D-Day it was Operation Overlord or the Great Crusade. As always though Bush and Co spinned to Operation Iraqi Freedom.

6. "Bring them on" is a very odd thing to say to the nationals of a country
where your soldiers are now tasked with being peace-keepers.
Why didn't Bush address the Iraqi people directly, asking them to "Give Peace a Chance"? Oh, of course, he couldn't do that because (1) he's a Republican and (2)they don't have electric power to run their TVs or radios.
