Russert is such a shill for the Rethug corporate power structure. Rarely asking the tough questions of the Rethugs, and almost never a followup question or interruption. It is usually one softball after another as Russert sits their silently nodding his head and furrowing his brows.

I should be used to it by now, but it still really pisses me off!

It's as if we're watching MISSION IMPOSSIBLE with Russert's assignment--one he has obviously accepted--to try and tear down the Democratic candidates for President, one-by-one.

show. I mean, this last week has really been "Dean News (both good and bad) Week".

And then I started watching "Meet the Press" and realized that Dean's absence is a good thing. Russ is a whore of the highest caliber.

3. He will hopefully

soon be wearing his "Bush" lapel pin, like he did in 2000. At least it would present him as he is.

I think our guys might want to think about boycotting Timmy. You can be damn sure Bushco wouldn't go on his show if THEY were treated like he treats Dems.

Edit: coherence

4. Wesley Clark will be Russert's "assignment" next week...
Russert's research assistants will be working overtime, ferreting out anything that might possibly smear the General. I'm rooting for Wes Clark, and hoping that Russert will fail in his "assignment".
