Ok due to my new work scedulde ive been going to the gym about 9 or so and some of the gym guys turn it to ( barf ) fox news on the TV sets there..I will admit that listeing to blow hard O'reilly has helped my workout due to i do more reps out of anger at that buly fibber and listening to Hannity deffanlty gets my mad going to stay on the machines a bit more..Now i NEVER watch Fox news if i can help it..It drips with Evil totaly and they know it But watching Hannitiys partner Alan Colmes im like is this guy for real? Is he a real Lib as he boasts? Beacuse i consider myself a proud Lib and i hardly agree with him.. Or he knuckles under the very STUPID Hannity at the drop of a dime..Whats this guys story? He would not last one second on crossfire..Just wondering thanks for any input

Look, Colmes's posistion are a little bit left of center (just a little), but he cannot even defend his posistion. I know that any other liberal would rip Hannity apart in a second.

They should replace Colmes with David Corn. Hannity would get so pissed, he would shit in his pants and cry and try to punch out Corn simply because Hannity wouldn't be able to take the heat.

3. On what issues is Colmes

a little bit left of center? He's a nondescript moderate, perhaps even a conservative who is slightly more liberal than Hannity. But he isn't supposed to actually make a case (he's on Fox, after all) for anything that opposes Hannity. He's just supposed to sit there and be silent. He's a prop that supposed to get across the idea, "See, there are no liberal arguments to be made, which is why the 'liberal' can't argue against Hannity." If they had a real liberal on the show, Hannity would actually have to argue facts, and he's not up to that task.

Do the more "Liberal" networks have anybody MORE Liberal than Colmes?
I'd love to have a communications media owned and operated by Unions, Environmental groups or Peaceniks. If I were picking a talk show host to represent the Liberal viewpoint, I would probably choose Randi Rhodes or Mike Malloy, but so long as Conservatives control the media, THEY are not going to give their most powerful weapons to OUR best fighters.

In the meantime, Alan is doing the best that he can under the circumstances. Why treat him like an enemy? He's actually just published a pretty good book called "Red, White & Liberal".

jokes a lot about Colmes in his book. He claims that Colmes gets paid minimum wage and is also a go-for and security guard at faux. Sounds about right to me.

In a couple years, I'll see old Sean's resume on my desk begging for a job...it's been tough since the pictures of the small animals came out. Being the forgiving type, I'll offer Sean a job as a talk host...Trading Post anyone? :evilgrin:

The only reason to watch Colmes is to see how wingnuts stereotype liberals so when you hit them below the belt it hurts 'em a lot harder.
